School outdoor programs in Murramarang National Park, South Coast NSW
Engage your students in an educational and challenging multi day experience.
Hike and Paddle with your school group, geography class, environment class or Duke of Edinburgh students. The alternate education classroom of Murramarang National Park around Batemans Bay has exceptional features to offer a quality outdoor educational experience.
Our Staff live, eat and breathe their workplace and can assist designing a program to suit your needs.

Multi day hiking
Murramarang has quality coastal trails including a 48km section that links the village of Bawley Point to Batemans Bay. Offering remote or NPWS campsites we can create a 1 – 4 day walk experience
Expedition kayaking
Sea Kayaks are the ultimate touring kayak, best used on overnight outdoor education trips where students will need to plan, and manage their journey including packing food and sleeping gear into the boats.
Combine Paddle and Hike
For the ultimate journey, we encourage schools to consider our 5 day expeditions where we kayak and walk over 70km. With our assistance students will need to plan and prepare meals, equipment and group needs.
The Murramarang Coast Journey for schools is based around using our dynamic Outdoor classroom and we are fortunate to be situated within a significant biological area where river meets ocean, biodiversity is high and teeming with learning possibilities.
Region X designs programs that are fun and educational. Using our kayaks as the ultimate low impact vehicles to enter these sensitive unique environments we can design and quote your group based on duration and numbers.
